What brought you to beer?

A love of beer and lack of a job in the field of my education.

When I create a recipe, I’m mostly inspired

by flavors in other beers or cocktails.

First beer I ever drank:

Corona

Last beer I drank:

Weyerbacher Merry Monks Ale, Belgian-style Tripel

Favourite beer(s) that I ever drank:

Victory Prima Pils, Weihenstephaner Hefe Weissbier, Orval, Duvel,

Favourite beer style:

It is too hard to chose a single one. I love Belgian-style beers, IPAs, and English Barleywines to mention a few.

Favourite hops:

Simcoe, Centennial, Citra

Malty beers or hoppy beers?

Yes!

Everybody should have tried these three beers at one point in their lives:

Beer variety is:

It’s what makes it so much fun to be a brewer and a beer drinker. It never gets boring!

Best place(s) to drink beer:

The Standard Tap, Philadelphia, PA, USA

Beer means to me:

Beer is fun, enlightening, and liberating.

My best beer experience:

My First trip to Bruges, Belgium. It was a trip filled with nice people, beautiful architecture, and wonderful beers!

To a non-beer drinker I serve:

Weyerbacher Merry Monks Ale, Belgian-style Tripel

Beer is best matched with:

Friends

My advice to home brewers is:

Have fun. Make your own styles with your own recipes.

The Swiss beer scene needs:

More Weyerbacher!

What I always wanted to know about beer is:

How to make a perfect beer! It is an unattainable goal; but we brewers strive to continuously learn more every day.

In five years…

I would like to have brewed at least 100 new beers!
