After all three previous exposures to The Kernel Brewery, we’ve had at least one beer we’ve been raving about. After the first visit at the brewery in 2011 it was an IPA. At the De Molen it was the Bière De Table Barrel Aged #4 and at the CBC the London Sour Raspberry/Basil. Visiting Kernel in London thus was a no brainer.
Interview with Raphaël Mettler of Brasserie Trois Dames
In Vaud, on the Balcony of Jura, lies the idyllic small town of Sainte Croix. Already well known for hiking and skiing, from this town flows a stream of beer into Switzerland and the rest of the world as well. We met with Raphaël Mettler, the owner of Brasserie Trois Dames, to talk about his career and his planned attacks on our taste buds.
Interview with Jérôme Rebetez von Brasserie des Franches-Montagnes (BFM)
Somewhere close to the edge of the world, or at least the edge of Switzerland, is Jura and here you’ll find the Brasserie des Franches-Montagnes, better known as BFM. The brewery of Jérôme Rebetez is the only Swiss brewery with a global reputation and with his Abbaye de Saint Bon-Chien, BFM brews a modern classic. Therefore this trip to BFM was like a pilgrimage for us.
