RateBeer listet um die 100 Biere auf, welche Amarillo im Namen tragen. Tats\u00e4chlich wurde der Hopfen von den Virgil Gamache Farms in den USA entdeckt. Das Unternehmen ist auch der einzige Anbauer dieses Hopfens \u2013 man kann also keine Setzlinge kaufen \u2013 und hat auch das Markenrecht am Namen Amarillo f\u00fcr Hopfen. Beschrieben wird der Hopfen als blumig, s\u00fcss und mit Citrus-Aromen.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Die Aufgabe war also klar und gleichzeitig offensichtlich einfach: 1 Abend, 4 Amarillo-Biere.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\"><a href=\"http:\/\/www.ratebeer.com\/beer\/stormanchor-amarillo\/218991\/\"><strong>Storm&amp;Anchor Amarillo Single Hop IPA<\/strong><\/a><\/h3>\n\n\n\n<p>Gute Bittere, S\u00fcsse Himbeeren, Mandarine, gut verbauter Alkohol, entwickelt etwas Kaugummi je w\u00e4rmer das Bier wird. <em>\u2013 Bewertung: 3 \u00bd von 5<\/em><\/p>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\"><strong><a href=\"http:\/\/www.ratebeer.com\/beer\/de-witte-leeuw-amarillo-sun\/153822\/\">De Witte Leeuw Amarillo Sun<\/a><\/strong><\/h3>\n\n\n\n<p>Dieses Bier ist kein IPA sondern ein Belgisches Blonde. Sehr viel Hefe in der Flasche. Amarillo kommt nicht sehr stark zur Geltung. Zur\u00fcckhaltende S\u00fcsse, Rosenwasser, sogar ein Bisschen Farmhouse-Funk. <em>\u2013 Bewertung: 3 von 5<\/em><\/p>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\"><strong><a href=\"http:\/\/www.ratebeer.com\/beer\/mikkeller-hop-series-amarillo\/142331\/\">Mikkeller Hop Series Amarillo<\/a><\/strong><\/h3>\n\n\n\n<p>Alle Biere der neuen Hop Series haben einen seltsamen Gummi-Zwiebeln-Fenchel-Beigeschmack \u2013 und je nach Hopfensorte wird dieser st\u00e4rker (Wimea) oder etwas schw\u00e4cher (Magnum). Der Gummi-Zwiebeln-Fenchel-Geschmack ist hier etwas schw\u00e4cher, dazu Erdbeeren und stark Himbeeren, leichte S\u00fcsse und Rosenwasser, etwas Karamalz. <em>\u2013 Bewertung: 2 von 5<\/em><\/p>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\"><strong><a href=\"http:\/\/www.ratebeer.com\/beer\/de-molen-amarillo\/86898\/\">De Molen Amarillo<\/a><\/strong><\/h3>\n\n\n\n<p>Ein Double IPA mit 9.2 Prozent Alkohol. Amarillo kommt im Aroma sehr zur Geltung, ausserdem Orange, Himbeere, Pfirsich. Ebenso Himbeeren und auch hier Rosenwasser.
